Over 90 community partners and employment agencies refer economically disadvantaged men to Suits his Style – and we continue to look for more community connections as we expand.
Many individuals and organizations in Ottawa have expressed interest in collaborating with Suits his Style to help grow our network and broaden our outreach. We are continuously looking for Community Partners to provide expertise or services in a number of areas including graphic design, communications, or web design, as well as any individuals or local businesses that might be interested in assisting us through hosting/promoting a suit drive or event or becoming a donation drop-off location.

THE POWER OF GIVING
Your gift has the power to increase our impact and help us reach even more men with our service. The majority of the men we serve have a high school education or lower, are supporting 2 or more children and have been unemployed for an average of 6 months.
As a volunteer-run charity with no paid staff, 100% of your donation goes to helping men in need. There is 0 administrative overhead.
$20,000+ Platinum Partner – Plant seeds of change and expand your impact! Give the ability to serve more men in need through greater outreach to new referral partners, more promotions to raise awareness of our services, expanded campaigns to increase clothing donations, and expanded volunteer recruitment and enhanced volunteer management. You would help us support more men accessing our services, more efficient scheduling, rental of a larger space to see more clients and rental of more warehouse space to store clothing to support larger number of men helped.
$10,000 Gold Partner – Support more men accessing our service while reducing the wait time. Give the ability to see more men for appointments through recruiting more volunteers. Enable the reduction of our backlog, reduce missed appointments and increase the number of men we help through an automated scheduling system.
$5000 Silver Partner – Support expansion of our awareness raising activities. Funding will help us create promotional material, purchase pop-up banners, develop effective and targeted social media posts, create engaging content (e.g. infographics) and update our website. To increase the number of men we help, we need to raise awareness so more professional clothing is donated and more men know about our services.
$2500 Bronze Partner – Give over 175 men a self confidence boost and the ability to make a good first impression through a full set of professional clothing (suit, pants, shirt, tie, belt, shoes).

Client Referral Agencies
Suits his Style works closely with various organizations across Ottawa offering employment programming for men looking to enter or re-enter the workforce. Clients of these organizations are then referred to Suits his Style once they are ‘job-ready’, as assessed by our referral partners, to access our services.
Our services have been extended to men facing economic hardships due to unexpected or chronic unemployment. These individuals face difficulties due to their unique circumstances and are at further disadvantage during the interview process without appropriate attire; thus impacting their confidence and, ultimately, their ability to succeed at a job interview.
Since beginning operations in August 2014, we have suited over 500 clients, over 65% of whom have since found employment, become self-employed or have elected to further their education. There is great need for our type of organization in the community as we provide a unique service. Our community partners have already come to rely on our services, and we have received consistently positive feedback from both clients and referral partners.
